New Fall Pottery and Poppy Seed Chicken Recipe

Fall is undoubtedly my favorite season. I created several unique designs which will be for sale in my Ravin Studio booth at South Water Manor in Gallatin. The gallery photos below are mostly fall pieces. The acorn and owl are jars with lids. The white vase with the hand painted leaves also has cutouts. So this would be an item for display or you could put an LED light in it. The bright colored leaves on a log with acorns is a napkin holder. Of course the leaf mug is my favorite. It’s never too early to start Christmas shopping. The white mugs with hand painted watercolor motifs are sure to be that special gift. I am getting ready for our November 2nd and 3rd Sumner County Studio Tour. I feature watercolor paintings and pottery at Studio #5. My friend Julie will be selling her jewelry at my studio also. I hope to see you there.

Here are a few paintings that I completed this month.

  • 1 Tablespoon poppy seeds

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees
  2. Place cubed chicken in a 9 X 13 casserole dish.
  3. Stir together the soup and sour cream. Pour over the chicken.
  4. In a separate bowl, stir together the crushed crackers and melted butter. Sprinkle over the chicken and sauce. Sprinkle the poppy seed over the crackers.
  5. Bake for 20-30 minutes in the preheated oven, until the top of the casserole is browned and the sauce is bubbly.
