Spring ’25 Pottery and Paintings

I don’t have a recipe yet, but I’ll post my latest pottery creations as well as watercolor paintings. I enjoy teaching watercolor classes at Elevate 50 (Hendersonville Senior Citizen Center) two Friday’s each month unless the weather intervenes. I post our project with directions on this website under the heading ” Watercolor Lessons” on the menu of the home page. I have been doing quite a bit of painting on pottery pieces. The pottery is available for purchase at South Water Manor in my Ravin Studio booth upstairs.

Watercolor Paintings and Slow Stitching Projects

The mountain painting will be a project for the Elevate 50 class. The owl was my example for last month’s painting. I took an online class in Slow Stitching, which is basically applique and embroidery. I will put the birds on a pair of overalls I made. The cat is part of a panel that I will put on my couch to cover where the cat has used the corner as a scratching post.
