December Time to Paint Christmas Cards
In 1988, I began hand painting each card I sent out. The first card was a grist mill in Boone, N.C and I painted 4 cards. Now I am painting anywhere from 20 to 35 cards each year. Usually there is one design, but some years I have painted several different cards. Tomorrow I plan to finish up my 2019 cards.

I taught kindergarten through fifth grade at Station Camp for almost 9 weeks. It was a wonderful experience, as my grandson was one of my students and my daughter helped in the classroom . I have always loved handmade pottery ,collecting unique mugs at craft fairs and drooling over ceramic pieces that I could not afford. In 2010, I took a graduate ceramic class at Cumberland University and I was hooked in the creation process.
